From our earliest years we are told who we are, who we are not and who we should be, Often into our adulthood we carry scars and traumas that keep us on a path that our truest selves are not meant to tread. We give away our power seeking love, respect, and healing by continuing to be who we were told we should be.
It is when we take back and step into our power and claim our sovereignty that healing can begin. Taking action to break unhealthy cycles can be difficult and scary, but by claiming your sovereignty you begin to steer the course of your life and come to know your inner strength and full potential.
I have had the fiercest teacher when it comes to knowing my sovereignty. The Morrigan swooped in like a ruinous feathered hurricane, sunk her raven talons deep, and tore my life apart. Then, with her guidance, I found my truest self. Living my life with honest authenticity brought unfounded joy and happiness.
She's a teacher of many lessons, but reshaping you to achieve your highest potential and forcing you to step into your divine power is one she continuously instructs.
No matter where you are in life or your spiritual journey, claiming your sovereignty can be done and done again if need be. Because there will be times when you hit a bump it the road or it's completely washed out! You'll be led astray and face self doubt.
For times when you need to take moment, gather your wits and reassert your power, a regal potion can help steady and focus your mind and spirit.
Imperial Peony White Tea Leaf has been blended with Safflower, Calendula, Lemon Balm, Nettle & Bee Pollen.
Light and slightly lemony this is a lovely devotional tea for time spent in spiritual reflection and empowerment.
For fellow devotees to the Morrigan, you could also choose to leave a cup for our Great Queen and recite the following prayer by Stephanie Woodfield:
"Lady of Sovereignty,
Teach me to be sovereign of my mind,
clarity of thought, wisdoms when asked for.
Teach me to be sovereign of my heart,
trusting myself, love and loyalty shining bright.
Teach me to be sovereign of my actions,
mistakes and successes owed in full.
May I be sovereign of all I am,
and in doing so serve you well."
